    In this session you will learn the following: The steps necessary in conducting a program evaluation. How to identify key stakeholders of the evaluation and why they are important. The components of the logic model and how to best understand them. Outline of a basic evaluation; including data collection methods. How to develop effective performance measures, and be able to describe three ways to use evaluation data to draw conclusions about a program.

   Learn where and how to identify useful public and private grant resources. Communicate your story in a manner for positive results and a successful grant application. Topics to be covered include funding sources, examining criteria, how to tell your story, collaborating and net working on grant applications, application design, how to create a competitive application, how grants are reviewed, the budget process and evaluation.

   This session will help participants understand the power of storytelling, describe the five elements of a powerful story, provide time to develop and practice your core story, and identify three ways to use your story to advance policy change.
